Welcome to Dr. Chien's Math Centre! We offer tutoring classes that specialize in providing enrichment through math contests and problem-solving activities, as well as strengthening basic mathematics skills through practice of the BC school curriculum.

Our classes are organized by Dr. Cary Chien, one of the most recognized and awarded high school teachers in the Lower Mainland. During his time teaching at David Thompson Secondary School in Vancouver, the school gained a prestigious reputation for achievement in mathematics contests, provincial exams, and scholarships. In addition to Dr. Chien, all of our other classroom teachers are certified BC school teachers with experience and qualifications for teaching math, and our teaching assistants are knowledgeable, university students skilled at solving and teaching math problems, who have been on the honour roll in high school. Currently, all of our teaching assistants are former students of Dr. Chien or Mr. Chien.
